PARK RUN AT THE PUNCHBOWL

The National Trust are interested in setting up a Park Run at The Punch Bowl, Hindhead.  A fantastic setting and these 5 km runs would happen every Saturday morning at 9am.
Haslemere Border Athletic Club are willing to form the initial bedrock of runners as this Park Run starts up and grows, but we need two or three volunteers to provide the drive to get the project up and running.

Parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in.  There are currently 420 locations with 1,089,490 runners signed up. The average run time is 27:47 minutes for the 5km.

These events take place in pleasant parkland surroundings and we encourage people of every ability to take part; from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians; from juniors to those with more experience; we welcome you all.  Dogs on leads and off-road prams/buggies are also welcome.
