Emergency utility works on High Street, Haslemere

Dear Cllr,

Please be advised of emergency utility works on High Street, Haslemere.

The works are on behalf of Scottish and Southern Energy to repair a low voltage cable fault outside number 49.

They started these works on the 10th June, however our officer has instructed them to amend the traffic management to two-way signals due to safety issues with the previous set up. They currently have an estimated end date of the 26th June.

For your information can I advise you of emergency works being carried out on Church Lane, Haslemere (outside Haslemere Health Centre).

Thames Water need to repair a water leak in the carriageway. The traffic management that is placed is a Road Closure and the estimated end date is the 20/08/2019.

Utility works on Petworth Road, Haslemere

I advise of some impending utility works on Petworth Road Haslemere, They are from outside Fern Cottage to outside Paddocks. The works are using two way temporary signals.

These works are being carried out by Southern Gas Networks and to replace a small section of gas main.

These works are due to take place from Monday 27/06/16 for approximately 12 days,

Impending utility works on Hindhead Road – 28th January 2016

I advise of some impending utility works on Hindhead Road, at the Junctions with Tilford Road, Portsmouth Road, London Road Hindhead.

The works are using off peak multi-way temporary signals

These works are being carried out by BT and are to gain safe access to underground BT footway and carriageway boxes for fibre cabling and jointing work in existing duct. This is required for a new customer connection.

These works are due to take place from for the 28/01/16 for approximately 1 day.

Utility works on Grayswood Road, Haslemere

For your information, I advise of some impending utility works on Grayswood Road, Haslemere. The works will be outside the property called Little Sadlers. The works are using two way temporary signals.

These works are being carried out by Thames Water and are make a new water connection into the property.

These works are due to take place from Monday 14th September 2014 for approximately 5 days.

Advanced warning signage has been requested to be displayed on site.

Utility works in Wey Hill

For information, I advise of some impending utility works on Wey Hill, Haslemere. The works will be at the junction of St Christopher’s Road. The works are using two way temporary signals.

These works are being carried out by Thames Water and are to install new water services.

Due to the significance of this location, we have requested the works to take place in the school half term between  Monday 16th February 2015 to Friday 20th February 2015.
